Where's Wilmer?
So, in the space of 2 and a half days i've experienced my first roleplaying gamenight and met some hilarious people, had a near death experience caused by extreme thunder and lightning whilst on open water (more on that below), a visit to the Ytterby mine, taken a guided tour in the Vaxholm Fortress Museum, visited an abandoned fortress 1 o’clock at night with ghosts in the windows, taken long walks and gasped a bit too many times at crazy huge snails (as you can see in the picture with my babyhand), taken a stroll in the pitch black woods at about 1-2 o’clock at night, seen a huge bat, climbed, explored different islands and seen beautiful views.
Yeah, so the near death experience, that was fun..and by fun i mean horrifying. It had been some thunder earlier during the day and when it stopped we decided (i decided) that going out on the boat would be a great idea. But just as we were about to go Wilmer told me that it had been hailing in Stockholm (he lives half an hour or so from Stockholm...i think) and the level of my stupidity was not even..i just, i dunno what i was thinking, because when we got to the boat we saw a huge black cloud and i don't know anything about weather, but in my mind it was clear that that cloud was on it's way away from us because that was the thundercloud from earlier that day...So we went out.
After some time everything happend in like the blink of an eye (yes i know, i'm very dramatic) it started raining a little and then thunder, lightning and heavy hail came at the exact same time and the amount of panic i felt wasn't to play with. We ended up in someones back yard and when Wilmer was tying up the boat it almost looked like the lightning struck down in the water right next to him, so he dropped everything and we just ran to the house and was let in by a very nice woman and her 4 little girls. So there we were and waited it out. Funny thing is, if we had chosen her neighbours house we would have waited out the storm at Victoria Silvstedts place.
So all in all, i’ve had a great time to say the least, and now i’m at my aunts place in Hammarstrand!
