Audacious Art Experiment

It's sad to think about that this post might be the last one in the "Sheffield" category, emphasis on might.

Anyway, yesterday I went to the Audacious Art Experiment and got to see Howl, Elopes, Grey Lepers, Martha and Spoonboy! (There was a band called Delay aswell, but since i was leaving for London at 7 in the morning i couldn't stay for the whole thing, i'm a bit scared to listen to them now since i'm probably gonna think they're awesome and curse myself for not staying to see them...)They were all awesome but I was mostly looking forward to see Spoonboy live, truly amazing.

Since i came to Sheffield i've seen Reel Big Fish, Eric Ayotte, Streetlight Manifesto and Spoonboy, perfect timing for my Erasmus studies. I've also realised how famous the punk scene in my home town really is since most of the people I met at these gigs had either been to, or heard of Umeå because of the Punk scene, so Umeå, seriously, find a location for VERKET before they stand there without a place to be!

GOODBYES

Screw this, the goodbyes are starting and i'm in denial. Got a million hugs yesterday and i just watched Justine walk out the door, tomorrow it will be all of them.

I suck at sentimental texts about this sort of stuff so i'm just gonna say that this was the best experience of my life, never going to forget it, going to miss everyone, hope to see everyone again some day and also, now i can stay almost anywhere in the world for free!

Also, northern Sweden will always be open for all of you. Any of you Burbage babes traveling through Europe and decides to take a detour, let me know and i'll bring out the alcohol!

Soooooooooooooooooooooooon

Holy mother of freaked out jesus, i have my last exam tomorrow (gonna be interesting) and then i'm done with this semester, which means i'm going back to sweden very soon, which means i have to leave sheffield, which means i have to say goodbye to people, which is going to suck balls, but at the same time it sucks a little less balls when i realise that i will see my swedish friends very soon!

Somehow i need to save enough money this summer so i can go to straya, murrica and finland. Jobs, come at me.

Multiple Birthday party

So we celebrated a massive quantity of birthdays last night, all the funny quotes and inside jokes we've had during this semester were written on post-it notes and were put up on the wall. Night ended with obligatory Emmi-ordered pizza

I have an exam on Friday, funny thing is ive kinda might have forgotten how to study for an exam since the last time i had one, i was 18-19, so you know...gonna be interesting.

Other than that, i seriously need to start thinking about booking flights back home which is a bit sad, but fun, but sad, but also fun...but yet so sad.

And so, yet another Flatcrawl was arranged where we found ourselves in the Playboy Mansion, took a trip to a Summertime zone and ended up in the Jungle. Kudos to people who decorated their flats and provided us with snacks, booze and lovely company!
